All of these restaurants are just ones located in Akumal. There are tons of others in both directions outside of Akumal. Also, feel free to roam the streets in the Pueblo (the little town across the highway over the bridge, it’s where most of the local workers live).
There are so many little restaurants in there, and it’s always nice to give the locals business. Just be sure to have cash as most of the stores in the Pueblo don’t accept credit or debit cards.

La Buena Vida has a large menu, fun atmosphere, and the views are awesome. The bar has fun swings to sit on at the bar. They even have treehouses that you can climb into and have drinks served to you.
Lol-Ha probably has the best view on Akumal Beach. Their food and wait staff are spectacular. You can also enjoy the beach while there.
Taverna is quite the experience. The food and drinks are amazing, and the staff equally as great. Live Music on Thursday evenings.
La Lunita is that perfect spot for a quiet romantic dinner. The tables are setup on the beach, so you have the sand under your feet, and the stars above you.
Turtle Bay Cafe has the largest menu in Akumal. They literally have everything, and it all tastes great! They even have a dessert room and ice cream parlor.
Gilly’s Tequilaville is local owned by the nicest guy, Gilly. For a truly local experience, and the best prices in Akumal, check them out across the highway over the bridge in the Akumal Pueblo..
