Hola, y Bienvenidos!! I’m Gina, and I run this little portal to your future getaway vacation in Akumal. I first visited Akumal in 2014 while on an excursion from Cancun to swim with the dolphins. I instantly fell in love with it there, and bought my first condo shortly thereafter. It was my 1 Bedroom Beach Condo, and my first renovation outside of the US. It was difficult, but so much fun. I then wanted something a little bigger, so when the 2 Bedroom Beach Condo right across the hall went up for sale, I didn’t hesitate to buy it. That renovation, while way bigger, was way more fun since I already had the process down pat. The Villa, Casa de la Brisa, was purchased during COVID in 2021. Due to the pandemic, the renovation took way longer than expected, but it came out so much better than I had hoped.
I decided to start Akumal Getaways to try and steer away from the larger booking sites. In the past few years, the commission percentage rates and fees have become astronomical for my guests. I’m sure you know what I’m referring to. So, this is to help all of you out, my amazing guests.

Eus is the property manager (Versa del Caribe) for our 3 getaways. He’s the man behind the scenes in Akumal that makes it all run so smoothly.
Alondra works at La Joya Condos at the front desk, and is there to answer all of your questions, and assist in any extra needs you may have.
Mari-Cruz is our wonderful maid that is dedicated to the Villa, Casa de la Brisa. Her friendly smile and personal touches, makes her an amazing worker, and friend.
Missy is the person that keeps the exterior of Casa de la Brisa and the pool, looking immaculate. He is also there to tend to any extra needs you may have.
Merci is the cleaning supervisor at La Joya Condos. She’s so sweet and friendly, and will always make sure the condos are impeccably cared for.
Carlos is the head maintenance man for La Joya Condos and Casa de la Brisa. He’s extremely professional, and super efficient. Anything that needs attention, he will have it fixed in no time.

First of all WOW! Casa Brisa is just stunning and the staff is beyond amazing. Hands down the best place in Akumal! The staff is amazing! The only hard part of it all is leaving. Love Casa Brisa!
Smooth check in. Great communication with Gina. Perfect spot on the beach. Walking distance to nearby restaurants. I felt very safe walking at night. Would definitely stay here again.
Gina’s place is incredible!! You can just sit & watch the view all day. Just a short walk away from Akumal Beach where you can swim with the turtles – an amazing experience. Highly recommend!
This place was a real treat! The style, location, staff, etc. was absolutely wonderful. If you want a location that has tastes of your home, this is it. It is and will be at the top of my list!
Lovely place to stay! We went here for our honeymoon and enjoyed the quiet beach front location. We loved that the room was on the top floor, and the service was excellent.
