Our getaways are located in Akumal, MX. It’s a quaint little resort town located just over an hour south of Cancun.
Akumal, which means “Place of the Turtle” in the Mayan language, is a coastal resort town on Mexico’s Riviera Maya, on the Yucatán Peninsula. Akumal Beach has white sands, a coral reef and warm waters rich in marine life, including turtles. To the north, Half Moon Bay has a curved beach, while Yal-ku Lagoon teems with colorful tropical fish, plus stingrays and barracudas. This tourist-friendly little town is about an hour south of Cancun—but it seems light-years away.
We have 3 properties to offer you; a 1 bedroom condo, a 2 bedroom condo, and a luxury Private 4 Bedroom Villa. All 3 are beachfront properties with spectacular views.

Akumal is right in the middle of Playa del Carmen and Tulum, both busy cities. Akumal has the relaxation most crave, with loads of fun nearby.
Akumal, which means “Place of the Turtle” in the Mayan language, is home to so much wildlife, but more specifically, the Caribbean Green Sea Turtle. Through many months of the year, you can see their many egg nests scattered throughout Akumal.

First of all WOW! Casa Brisa is just stunning and the staff is beyond amazing. Hands down the best place in Akumal! The staff is amazing! The only hard part of it all is leaving. Love Casa Brisa!
Smooth check in. Great communication with Gina. Perfect spot on the beach. Walking distance to nearby restaurants. I felt very safe walking at night. Would definitely stay here again.
Gina’s place is incredible!! You can just sit & watch the view all day. Just a short walk away from Akumal Beach where you can swim with the turtles – an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay! We went here for our honeymoon and enjoyed the quiet beach front location. We loved that the room was on the top floor, and the service was excellent.
